This ceremony brings together the Calvin community to mark the start of the academic year. All are welcome! New students and families will gather for a cookout on the Commons Lawn immediately following the ceremony.

Welcome Week dinner for new students and families

A Welcome Week event for new students to talk to advisors and department heads about their particular major and academic plan.

StreetFest introduces students to the city of Grand Rapids and the concept of service-learning. It ignites passion for service and justice in the community throughout their time at Calvin and beyond!

Returning students may begin moving into their residence halls or KE apartments starting Friday and continuing throughout the weekend.

The Love Your Neighbor event during Welcome Week invites new students into the biblical call to loving your neighbor right here on Calvin's campus.
