Important Dates and Deadlines
- August 1: Application opens
- October 1: Begin the FAFSA
- November 1: Last day to apply for free
- December 1: Apply for named scholarships
- January 31: Last day to apply for named scholarships
- February 15: Financial aid packages begin
- April 30: Last day to submit updated GPA or test scores for scholarships
- May 1: Decision day!
How to Apply
To apply to Calvin, please submit the following:
- Calvin application or the Common application
- Unofficial high school transcript: Email to admissions@calvin.edu or submit through your guidance counselor via the Common Application.
- Official college/university transcripts: If you've done any college/university course work, you can submit these in your application.
You don’t need to submit an SAT, ACT, or CLT score. Calvin is test optional!

- High school GPA: 3.8
- ACT: 22-30
- SAT: 1080-1330
What if your scores are lower?
We still encourage you to apply! These scores only represent the middle 50% of our first-year students. When we review your application, we take your entire application into consideration.
