Keynote Speakers
Hannah Brencher
is an American writer, speaker, and founder best known for her work inspiring connection and kindness in a digital age. She first gained attention through her project "The World Needs More Love Letters," which began when she started leaving handwritten letters of encouragement for strangers struggling with loneliness. Her heartfelt initiative grew into a global movement, and she later shared her story in her TED Talk and books such as If You Find This Letter and Come Matter Here. Through her writing and speaking, Brencher encourages authenticity, hope, and the power of small acts of love to make a big difference.
Truth's Table
Podcast is hosted by Dr. Christina Edmondson and Ekemini Uwan, the 鈥淢idwives of Culture for Grace and Truth.鈥 Truth鈥檚 Table is an influential faith podcast 鈥渂uilt by Black women and for Black women.鈥 With over eight years of success, Truth鈥檚 Table has gained significant recognition in the Faith & Spirituality podcasting segment for its incisive analysis at the intersections of faith, race, politics, and culture. Their thoughtful and theological approach addresses complex issues with nuance and authenticity. Their accolades include awards such as the 鈥淏est Black Religion/Spirituality Podcast鈥 and recognition from prestigious platforms like the Black Podcasting Awards, The Communicator Awards, and NAACP Image Awards.
Dr. David I. Smith
Professor of Education at 青涩直播, Dr. Smith directs the Kuyers Institute for Christian Teaching and Learning and is a coordinator for the de Vries Institute for Global Faculty Development. His work explores how Christian beliefs shape pedagogical practices, and he鈥檚 a leading voice in reimagining education through a faith-informed lens. Expect a session that challenges and equips educators to think deeply about the spiritual dimensions of teaching in their work.
Dr. Rishi Sriram
serves as Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Success at Baylor University and teaches in Baylor鈥檚 Higher Education and Student Affairs program. Dr. Sriram brings a wealth of experience in student affairs leadership and residential learning. His research focuses on talent development and student engagement, and he's the author of Student Affairs by the Numbers. His insight will help us reimagine how we support student flourishing in today's complex educational landscape.
